We have only started reading this book that my son borrowed from the school library, But I was appalled as I read through the second chapter and ran into this jewel: "Luz un incendio" (one of the Spanish speaking characters ordering a fire to be lit). I just have to say to the author, if you don't know spanish don't rely on Google Translate. That is a literal word by word translation (those words have several translation into Spanish, and he chose the least adequate ones), and the resulting phrase makes absolutely no sense in Spanish. The correct phrase is "Prende una fogata".I also cannot believe the editor didn't catch it or run it by someone who does speak Spanish.
I will post an update when we finish the book, I hope that's the only attempt at Spanish.

My 9 year old Grandson Loves to read this story to me.
We have only started reading this book that my son borrowed from the school library, But I was appalled as I read through the second chapter and ran into this jewel "Luz un incendio" (one of the Spanish speaking characters ordering a fire to be lit).
